Eco Adventures
Planning family or group vacations where there’s something for everyone can sometimes be challenging. Yes, we have many scuba diving groups charter the sailboat Cat Ppalu, however we also get many non-diving groups or groups with a mixture of divers and non-divers charter it also. We offer many adventure activities and shore excursions besides diving & snorkeling. Do as much or as little diving as you like. It is your vacation, so you can do what you desire.
Dive Sites
By focusing on dive spots in the Exuma Cays – only accessible to scuba diving liveaboards – we are able to bring you to a wide variety of experiences. Where else can you take a high-speed drift dive, explore a blue hole, reef, walls and wrecks in one trip? We pack in a total of up to 19 daytime and night dives.
On Board
Cat Ppalu is both a diving and sailing adventure. Our captain and crew are here to serve you by bringing you to the best dive sites, preparing meals, teaching you eco adventure skills or answering questions. Should you like to help hoist the sail, we’d be happy to oblige.
Dive Sites
The Exuma Cays are where we drop anchor for our diving adventures. Because visitors to this part of the Bahamas are limited to dive liveaboards, you’ll find the marine life abundant and this area pristine. The variety of dive sites is unmatched in the Caribbean.
Many of our divers come for the rare chance to swim with the sharks. Still others are fascinated by the coral gardens, delicate fans or interesting colors and shapes of sponges.
Get ready to have up close and personal encounters with fish of all sizes from trevallies to Goliath grouper.
Bring your camera to snap a photo of an eel, a long-legged lobster or bashful crab.
The Bahamas are a special place. We believe that your group will log this as a vacation of a lifetime filled with great memories.
