Captain James and his crew were absolutely fabulous! Super helpful, kind, caring, funny, and will go the extra mile just to make sure you’re happy & comfortable!

Jennifer

Jen

Engineer & Dive Instructor

Jen has been all around the world. Starting off in Australia on a pirate ship operating out at the Great Barrier Reef and the Coral Sea. She continued to see the ocean around Indonesia and Thailand where she furthered her education in the diving industry. She ended up working in a resort in the Maldives and then the Bahamas for the past four years where she did her IDC staff instructor certification. She has been a shark feeder for years and also worked for a short time in Baja California Sur, Socorro Islands before she came back to join our crew in November 2021. She has been working on our sister ship the Aqua Cat for two years and wants to further her knowledge in engineering and captaining on our Cat Ppalu. Before joining the diving industry Jen worked as a roofer in her home country Germany and she has her yacht carpentry degree. She has a massive passion for taking underwater photos and videos. The closer she comes to a shark the better!

Benny

                             Engineer & Dive Instructor

Benny Joins us from the Pacific Northwest where he saturated his brain for 4 years on an applied physics degree before becoming a scuba instructor, and running a dive center in California. The Best Worst decision of his life. On a trip on one of our mighty sailing vessels, he decided to abandon land and extend his vacation, becoming part of the Pirate Crew. Who needs a flight home when you can stay another week? After spending his spare time over the past ten years breaking and attempting to fix cars and motorcycles, he decided boats would be a nice change of pace. Tinkering at sea is his new favorite thing to do above the teal blue waters of the Bahamas. Fun fact about Benny: he is actually a qualified physicist. His specialty is Graphene field effect transistors. He was the best at making them go boom. Hence Engineering!

HALEY

CHEF

Haley is originally from ATL Georgia but was quickly whisked away by the ocean on the east coast of Florida to research bottlenose dolphins while she attended Flagler College. Like a typical dolphin out of water, she is quite clumsy and you will probably witness Haley hit her head on at least one thing. Her favorite animals are toothed whales (belugas, dolphins, etc). Her cooking skills are a self taught obsession and curiosity as she always wants to recreate any recipe she loves. All international and traditional foods pique her interest and are currently what her focus is on. When Haley is not cooking, one could find her reading, doing yoga, diving, or talking someone’s ear off about whales.
