The best part was that even when weren't diving, we still had a great time with laughs and giggles.

Scuba Diving Instruction

Learn to dive on a scuba liveaboard in the clear, warm waters of the Caribbean. There is nowhere better than a dive liveaboard because once you have completed your dive instruction, you will be able to log multiple dives and get very comfortable in the water. We have scuba diving liveaboards from Budget to Beyond.

From dive adventures (Bahamas) at $1,045 per week to the luxury liveaboards  (Bahamas) and All Star Cuan Law (British Virgin Islands), we have a liveaboard for you. Our onboard scuba courses are designed to be fun, safe and prepare you to dive the world! You may take a complete open water diving course on the Aqua Cat or finish your open water dives (OWCO) on any of the liveaboards. Once you have completed your instructional dives and become scuba certified, you will be able to dive the rest of the cruise with your dive buddy. If you are already certified you may complete your advanced open water or a specialty course.

If your family would like to learn to dive on vacation in the Bahamas, you can charter our sailing liveaboard catamaran Cat Ppalu. You can bring up to 12 family members or friends. On this charter, you can decide how much you want to dive. You may wish to take some shore excursions to the swimming pigs, the Exumas Land & Sea Park or one of the other islands as well as dive the crystal clear waters of the Exuma Cays.

Learn to dive on Vacation - Full Scuba Certification Course

Scuba certification teaches you how to dive. The course is divided into three parts: 1) knowledge development 2) confined water training and 3) open water dives. It takes you progressively from beginning to end and it never pushes you beyond your comfort level. The ultimate goal is to help you gain the confidence and acquire the knowledge you need to become a safe diver.

Complete the knowledge development modules prior to boarding. Once on board, our professional dive instructor will review the materials to make sure you are competent and comfortable.

For the confined water training, you’ll be transported to an island beach where one of our instructors will teach you and allow you to practice the skill segment of the course.

The open water dives will take place next. Within four dives, you will complete the drills to show you’ve obtained the necessary skills to pass your certification. After this, you are certified for life!

The Aqua Cat offers up to 26 dives each week, allowing you, along with your dive buddy, to practice these newly learned skills. Your confidence and ease in the water will be so much better after having a full week of repetitive diving. Besides that, don’t you want your first dives to be in the crystal clear waters of the Bahamas instead of some muddy quarry?

Course pre-requisite – please complete the Medical Form located in the footer of this page and bring it with you. If you answer YES to any questions, then a doctor must sign off to allow you to dive.
