Sam
CAPTAIN
Sam started with the company as a dive instructor and worked his way up to captain of the Cat Ppalu. Sam returned as first mate on the Aqua Cat and has earned his captain’s license tonnage to now captain her too. He enjoys hiking, eating healthy and working out.
TIM
CAPTAIN
Tim was born and raised in Toms River, New Jersey where he began sailing at the age of 7. Tim relocated to San Diego, CA where he received his Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice. Following college he obtained his USCG captains license and began his career as a merchant mariner. For the last 22 years he has worked as a Captain as well as a security specialist. Tim’s maritime and security career has allowed him to travel and work around the globe to places such as Mexico, the Caribbean, Central/South America, Europe, Africa, and the Middle East. Tim enjoys spearfishing, free diving, skydiving, and traveling. Tim has returned to the liveaboard dive industry which helped launch his career as a captain in the early 2000’s.
mORGAN
FIRST MATE
Morgan is from upstate New York. He has his bachelor’s of science in biology which kick started his scuba diving career. After collecting data for the Mesoamerican reef, he fell in love with corals and our delicate reef system and determined the ocean was going to be his life’s goal! He received his Divemaster certification in Roatan, Honduras then moved to Charleston, South Carolina. After managing and teaching at the local dive center, he ditched land for a sailboat and joined Blackbeard’s as a dive instructor/marauding pirate! He has since upgraded his ticket so he can work on the larger Aqua Cat.
INGRID
First Mate
Ingrid was born in Normandy, France and moved to the Bahamas during the early parts of her childhood. Growing up in Grand Bahama, she cultivated her passion for diving among many other water sports. Ingrid decided to follow her passion and became a Dive Instructor working at a Dive Center in the Bahamas for several years and eventually joined the Aqua Cat team. Other than SCUBA diving, Ingrid also enjoys horse-riding, free-diving, and hiking. You may not believe it but being a professional Shark Feeder Ingrid faces sharks all the time but is TERRIFIED of cockroaches!

DIVE INSTRUCTOR
Annie hails from Guadalajara Mexico. She grew up around the water so becoming a dive instructor was very natural for her. When she is not in the water with her favorite, the shark, she is into yoga, hiking, and camping. She has traveled most of North America’s coast line. she loves to nibble on edible flowers!

CHEF
Lauro joins us freom Queretaro, Mexico where he completed culinary school prior to traveling extensively thru Mexico, South American and the North Americas. He claims to be a nerdy guy who likes to play games and work puzzles with numbers that make you think. His favorite good is a good taco and mole sauce which you may see on board!
DaHIANA
STEWARD
Dihiana hails from Mexico. She has traveled all around Mexico, Canada and the USA since graduating from college with a degree in business. She enjoys photography, music and surfing and when she is home, her favorite pasttime is camping with friends. Her favorite color is green and she loves pasta!

DIVE INSTRUCTOR
Mikey hails from JBurg, SA and more specifically a small diving town Kcalled Umkomaas! He has a passion fo the ocean and loves everything from nudibranchs to whales! His favorite is the tiger shark- their slow and graceful movements and power when needed. In his spare time, he does a lot of running and loves spearfishing.
KIM
CHEF AND SOUS CHEF
Kimberly, known as Kim on board, hails from Caracas, Venezuela. She loves desserts, dogs, and nice perfume! She loves both sunrises and sunsets. When not working in the kitchen, she enjoys running, swimming and hiking wherever she may be.

DIVE INSTRUCTOR
Josh hails from North Carolina and he loves anything that involves water, whether it’s wake boarding, hydrofoiling, sailing, scuba diving or just floating! He enjoys rock climbing, finding new music and working on boats and cars in his free time.

DIVE INSTRUCTOR
Joseph, better known as Joe, comes from the (sometimes) sunny southeast coast of England and will be the newest member of the dive team on Aquacat. He studied catering and began traveling the world as a chef. After finding his love for scuba diving and working as a chef on diving liveaboards, he decided to swim in the water rather than boil it.
His most memorable underwater encounters were with different sharks in Thailand, Australia, Kenya and the Azores.

Engineer
Serafina hails from Veracruz, Mexico. He holds a black belt in Tae Kwon Do and loves riding motorcycles and chilling out with friends. He has traveled thru Canada and parts of the US prior to joining us in the Bahamas.
Joel
Engineer
Joel joins us from beautiful Jamaica! Growing up on an island with beautiful water, Joel loved boating as a kid and being on the water. He also enjoyed tinkering with things that don’t work and as he grew up, he found a way to combine his two passions. When not fixing boats, he loves to read, listen to music and go hiking. The peaceful feeling when surrounded by nature is something he loves.
SAMANTHA
SOUS CHEF AND STEWARD
Sam joins us from Queretaro Mexico where she studied Marine biology in college. This line of study made her fall in love with the ocean and all the wonders that are below its surface. She also loves to travel so it made perfect sense that her travels take her to exotic locations around water. Most recently, to Thailand where Sam completed her PADI Dive master certification. Her favorite shark is the great white, but she is also partial to the eagle ray because they look like they are flying underwater. When she is not on a boat you can find Sam reading, hiking, or diving!
CASSIDY
DIVE INSTRUCTOR
Cassidy joins us from Castle Rock Colorado. She has her BA in Animal studies and a minor in Marine Science. She has traveled extensively diving the Caribbean and worked with Bottlenose dolphins at the Institute of Marine Science in Roatan. She is fluent in American Sign Language which is great for underwater communication. Ask her to teach you!
