All travelers to the Bahamas need a passport. Check with the Bahamas Embassy
for visa requirements if citizenship is not U.S.
***Latin American Citizens traveling to the Bahamas: Travelers over age one must provide a YELLOW FEVER VACCINATION CERTIFICATE, if they are coming from countries with the risk of infection such as Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador, Panama, Paraguay, Peru and Venezuela. All travelers*** to Cuba need a passport, valid for at least six months after the date of entry. Check with the Cuban Embassy for visa if citizenship is not U.S.

Visas are issued at your home (U.S.) airport at time of airport check-in.

For Cuba dive cruises
, the transfer bus from Havana to Port Jucaro, where the All Star Avalon II is docked, only picks up passengers at two Havana hotels - Hotel Iberostar Parque Central and Melia Habana - Miramar Oceanfront Hotel, shown here
Guests staying at any other location will need to take a taxi to one of these hotels for their transfer to the vessel. Please arrive well in advance to not miss the bus.
Pickups from Havana are in the early morning (approximately 8:00am) and arrive at the vessel by mid-to-late afternoon (3:30-5:30pm). This trip from Havana to the dock is 6-7 hours long and the cost is approximately $100.00, depending on the number of passengers.

IMPORTANT: U.S. Restricts Cuban Businesses
The U.S. Department of State maintains a list of sanctioned Cuban businesses. U.S. citizens are prohibited from engaging in financial transactions with those on the list. If you choose not stay at one of the two recommended hotels above, please reference this list before booking a hotel or shopping in Old Havana.
Vegetarian, vegan and gluten free are pretty easy to work with as well as allergies so let us know if you require special meals. Please remember that you are participating in an adventure travel vacation that is occurring in a remote part of the world. Many of the modern conveniences, brands and pre-packaged goods we use at home are not available in remote destinations. As such, many special requests that are very specific are difficult to accommodate.

Cuba - All Star Avalon II - pay in advance with final payment. Fee is $130.00 per week per diver.
Indonesia - All Star Aurora - payment for nitrox can be made on board. Fee is $12.00 per day.

Travel and Dive Insurance
We recommend purchasing travel and dive insurance for your trip. In order to maintain our reasonable cost and high level of service, we do not automatically insure your trip against the adverse affects of weather or other factors beyond our control. Your holiday represents a significant investment, and unforeseen circumstances such as injury or sickness, airline issues, and family emergencies can easily affect your ability to travel.

Dive insurance is required in Cuba. Proof of certificate of diving accident insurance is required.
